Hello! My name is Amy Stafford and I am a Youth Services Librarian in Haslet, Texas. I've worked in public libraries for over seven years and I love what I do. My best days at work are when I am able to connect a child of any age to a book. I love engaging parents by including them in storytime participation and working with both the parent and the child when conducting reader's advisory. The Literacy Matters grant has re-ignited my passion for working with children and has been an incredible gift and responsibility!
