My name is Monica Jones and I am a Library Assistant for a municipal public library - I love my job! I applied for the Literacy Matters cohort because I believe that literacy is one of the key components of a cohesive society and because I believe that libraries are critical in supporting literacy in families and childhood education. I am proud to be part of Literacy Matters and I am proud to support families, educators and caregivers in their efforts to raise the next generation of readers.
